Notker Wolf Obituary, Death Cause – Notker Wolf was a Benedictine monk, priest, abbot, musician, and novelist from Germany. He was born on June 21, 1940, and passed away on April 3, 2024. He was a member of the Benedictine Congregation of Saint Ottilien, which is a component of the St. Ottilien Archabbey, which is located in Bavaria, Germany. In the past, he was elected to the position of ninth Abbot Primate of the Benedictine Confederation of the Order of Saint Benedict, and he previously served in that capacity. It was in the year 2000 that he was chosen to the position of Abbot Primate, and he served his final term until the year 2016. It was in Bad Gronenbach, which is located in the Allgau area of Germany, that Werner Wolf was born. His father was a tailor. Both the Oberrealschule Memmingen, which is now known as Bernhard-Strigel-Gymnasium, and the Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium St. Ottilien, from which he graduated from high school in 1961, were the institutions from where he received his younger education.
