Loretta Turek Obituary, Tribute To A Treasured Soul

Loretta Turek Obituary, Death –  Loretta Turek, who had reached the age of 92 when she passed away on March 28, 2024 in Lisle, Illinois, did not experience any discomfort or distress in her final resting place. We count ourselves extremely fortunate to have Loretta as our mother. Michael Ohap, Susan Glumb, Judy Fu, and Robert Ohap were all blessed with her. All of Loretta’s children were protected and cared for by their mother.

Derek Balestri, Bret (Danielle) Balestri, David (Kellie) Krugman, Michael (Jody) Krugman, Thomas Ohap, Matthew, Alisha, Olivia, Timothy, and Jack Krugman, as well as Drake Clemons, were all gifted with humor and wisdom as a result of her role as a treasured grandma. Drake Clemons was also blessed with humor and knowledge. Her appreciation for this position was really great.

There was a special place in Loretta’s heart for her siblings Lucille (the late Gene) Gierut, Joseph (Mary) Siwek, and Stephen (the late Marlene) Siwek, as well as for her brothers, the late Reverend Jerome Siwek and the late Bernadine (Ronald) Rodeo. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart. In addition, her brothers had passed away before she got there.

Loretta’s commitment to her studies was the only thing that could be compared to her dedication to her faith. There was no other thing that could compare to her dedication. The St. Joseph High School is where Loretta received her diploma. She was a devoted Catholic who had been attending Our Lady of Peace Church in Darien for a very long time. She was a former member of the congregation.

Her search for solace and company led her to that location, where she found a great deal of both. The activities that Loretta did were not only varied but also filled with a sense of rejuvenation. She took delight in going for walks through the mall with her friends, experiencing the excitement of a day at the casino, and reveling in the simple pleasure of being a “fun” grandma.

She found these activities to be enjoyable. The first and most important thing that Loretta possessed was an intense love for her family, and she was a perfect example of what it is to have a compassionate and faith-filled soul. Visitation for the memorial service will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Modell Funeral Home, which can be found in Darien at 7710 S. Cass Avenue.
