Glenn Pinkston Obituary, Memorial Service Honoring The Life Of Glenn Pinkston

Glenn Pinkston Obituary, Death –  In Henderson, Kentucky, on March 28, 2024, Glenn Pinkston, who was 91 years old at the time of his death, passed away at his residence. Webster County, Kentucky was the location where Glenn Pinkston was born on June 22nd, 1932. His parents, Orville Pinkston and Mae Pinkston, both passed away before his birth.

Glenn was a veteran of the United States Air Force who worked at operational engineers 181 as a heavy equipment operator with the engineering department. Additionally, he served in the armed forces. Besides being a businessman, he was also a co-owner of Pinkston’s Market and T&P Flowers, both of which were located in Corydon, Kentucky.

Over the course of his membership at the Corydon Missionary Baptist Church, which spanned a considerable amount of time, Glenn also held the position of deacon at the facility. Gardening, riding his motorcycle with his family and friends, being a pilot on his private plane, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, were some of the activities that he enjoyed doing. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Additionally, his brother, Donald Ray Pinkston, as well as both of his parents, Orville and Mae Pinkston, had already passed away before to his own passing.

Glenn is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, LaNeal Pinkston; his children, Ricky Pinkston (Tammy),LaDona O’Nan (Steve), and Lisa Crook (Jackie); one sister, Mildred Joyce Whitmore (Fred); six grandchildren, Shanon Thomson (Michael), Brennen Crook (Becky), Mindy Blankenship (Jason), Emily Galyon (Eric), Dagney Hargis (Adam), and Darrick Pinkston (Katie); eleven great grandchildren, Avery, Owen, Grace, Ryder, Aniston, Charlie, Winston, Isla, Raelynn, Theo, and Mila.

Funeral services will be performed at the Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at ten o’clock in the morning. Bro. Rick O’Daniel will preside over the ceremony as the officiant. On the first Monday of April in 2024, there will be a visitation conducted at the Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, commencing at four o’clock in the afternoon and running until eight o’clock in the evening.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, and will continue until the time of the service. The funeral home will be the location of the visitation. In addition to Charlie Crook, Brennen Crook, Darrick Pinkston, Michael Thomson, Adam Hargis, Jason Blakenship, Owen Blakenship, and Ryder Hargis, the following persons will serve as pallbearers at the funeral service.
