Donald Talton Death, In Loving Memory Of Donald Talton

Donald Talton Death –  Donald Wayne Talton, who had reached the age of 72 at the time of his dying, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024. He had reached the age of 72 with his passing. This coming Wednesday, at three o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a service held at the graveside in Homestead Memorial Gardens. Wednesday is the day that the service will take place.

On Tuesday, relatives of the family will be present at the Smith Funeral Service between the hours of five and seven o’clock in order to meet and greet those who had previously attended the service. After spending his childhood in Norfolk, Donald joined the United States Merchant Marines and served for a number of years. He was the youngest of three children.

After beginning his career as a truck driver in Eureka, he moved to Goldsboro, where he found work at Jackson’s Car Care Center. He remained in Goldsboro until he retired. The first time he worked, he was employed in Eureka. As a drummer, he spent his entire life performing with a broad variety of bands, the most recent of which being “The Last Chance Band.” He took great delight in having the opportunity to play with these bands. He was filled with passion as he pursued advancement in his work.

Prayer was something that he had a strong belief in, and he had a true love for God. God was the center of his life. Activities such as reading, fishing, and hunting were some of his favorite things to do in his leisure time for him. Even before he passed away, his sister, Susan Talton Jackson, as well as both of his parents, Oscar Frank and Louise Barnes “Doodle” Talton, had already passed away. His passing came after they had all passed away.

Brenda Sutton Talton, his wife, is the only one who will survive him after his passing. His son, D.W. Talton, who is married to Sara and lives in Arizona, as well as two grandchildren, his stepdaughter, Judy Flickinger, who is married to Tony and lives in Greenville, as well as his stepgranddaughter, Meghan Flickinger, as well as his brother-in-law, Martin Jackson, who lives in Dudley, and his niece, Sandra Pender, are also among those who survive him.
