William Shiver Obituary, Family Mourn The Passing Of William Shiver

 William Shiver Death – William Shiver, who resided in Geneva, Alabama, passed away in his home on Friday, March 29, 2024. He was surrounded by the love and support of his family and friends at the time of his passing. His age was eighty years old at the time. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening, in order to meet and greet friends attending the funeral.

The chapel of the Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva will be the location of a private family service that will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. There will be no public attendance at the event. The arrangements for the burial, which will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, will be handled by the Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home, which is located in Geneva, Alabama.
Instead of sending flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be sent to the Devco Baptist Church, which can be found at 1008 Sizemore Highway, Geneva, Alabama 36340. This is in lieu of sending flowers.

In the county of Holmes in the state of Florida, Mr. Shiver was born on January 16, 1944. Both of his parents, William Lester and Foy Smith Shiver, had already passed away before to the birth of their son. Being outside, working in his garden, fishing, watching over his hens, going camping, and spending time with his family were all activities that Mr. Shiver enjoyed doing while he was outside. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. His brother K.L. Shiver and one of his sisters, Floy Edna Bailey, both passed away before he did. He was the last of his family members. To add insult to injury, his parents were among the people who passed away before him.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 61 years, Earnestine Hawthorne Shiver, who resides in Geneva, Alabama; one daughter, Sandra Ann Hatcher (Butch), who resides in Hartford, Alabama; two sons, Stevie Lamar Shiver (Stephanie) and William Clevie Shiver (Ginny), both of Geneva, Alabama; ten grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Eugene Shiver (Bobbie Jean) and Louie Shiver (Rhonda), both of Geneva, Alabama; and a number of nieces and nephews.
