Elaine Baker Obituary, Death –  The passing of Elaine J. Baker, age 88, of Novi, who had previously resided in Tecumseh, took place in a very tranquil manner on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Novi Lakes Health Campus. Baker had previously lived in Tecumseh.

She joined the world on October 20th, 1935, in the city of Adrian, Michigan. The deaths of both of her parents, Russell Lawhead and Edna (Hardesty) Lawhead, occurred prior to the birth of their daughter.
Elaine Baker and Merle Baker tied the knot on August 30, 1956, at the Ridgeway Nazarene Church. The ceremony was attended by relatives and friends.

The abundance of beautiful flowers that graced Elaine’s garden made it very evident to anyone who came into contact with it that she possessed a green thumb.
