Anne Kushick Obituary, Death –  Mrs. Anne “Nancy” Gushick, who had lived in Fern Glen all her life and had reached the age of 91, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Forest Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Weatherly. For a considerable amount of time, she had been suffering from illness.

She was born in Jeanesville on September 22, 1932, and her parents, Joseph and Anna (Stritz) Mulligan, had both passed away before she was born. She was their daughter. She initially moved from Jeanesville to Fern Glen, where she has been a resident for the previous seven decades that she has been there.

In her capacity as a factory worker, Nancy was employed by a variety of various industrial companies located in the region. She was a member of the Rosary Society and the Altar Society in addition to being a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Weston. She was also a member of various other organizations. She was also a member of the Twin County Lionettes, which was an additional accomplishment. Nancy’s favorite way to spend her time was traveling, and she especially enjoyed visiting to Germany and Disney World with her family. Traveling was one of her favorite ways to spend her time.

Her parents were the first to die away, but she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Kushick; her son-in-law, Jeffrey Herring; and her siblings, Maurita Phillips, John, James, Joseph Mulligan, Grace Catherine Kroscavage, and Thomas Mulligan. Her parents were the first to pass away.

As well as a large number of nieces and nephews, she is survived by her two daughters, Joanne Herring and Kathleen Virnelson, both of Fern Glen; her two grandchildren, Joseph Herring of Livermore, California, and Marianne Virnelson of Silver Spring, Maryland; her three siblings, Edward Mulligan and his wife Priscilla of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Robert “Bobby” Mulligan and his wife Betty of Jim Thorpe; and Margaret Borneisen of Cedar Grove, North Carolina; and a large number of nieces and nephews.

Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), which can be found at 1265 Rock Glen Road in Rock Glen, will be the location of her funeral service, which will take place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 9:15 in the morning. The funeral service will be followed by a Christian burial service, which will begin at ten o’clock in the morning at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Weston.

Following the funeral, the burial will take place at the cemetery that is owned by the church. On Monday evening, April 1, 2024, from six o’clock to eight o’clock, there will be a visitation at the funeral home. The visitation will take place.
